Cranky Old Lady Snarkiness

As a change of pace I’ve been listeniing to a lot of KEXP at work lately.  Enjoyable on the whole.  Not just NPR-approved indie, either, although unsurprisingly they tend to throw in songs from the usual suspects with new albums (i.e. YLT, Modest Mouse, Polvo)…as well as nearly every freaking song from the Jemima Pearl solo album.

I’ve only heard one or two BYOP songs ever, and was not mad at them.  But man, does J. Pearl get under my skin.   LISTEN TO THE RONDELLES INSTEAD, KIDS.   Similar concept, infinitely better execution.

No, really, I will be leaving the office soon!  Just as well since I will be here all of Sunday.  Just like the Old Firm, except that I enjoy what I’m doing.
