Now home and able to watch the video, I feel slightly embarrassed. But only slightly. My complete whiffing of the point and even my awe at the talents of Mr. Wonder don’t change my original sentiments.
Slightly more embarrassed about yesterday’s emo post. As I told Po in the comments: acute but short-lived. I could use about 18 hours more sleep, but it was a really good day. I guess it’s good to have a crisis now and again because things are trending towards overwhelmingly great right now. Anything less and I’d be paranoid. Don’t worry, it’s back to reblogs and zingers tomorrow. Did you hear what Camille Paglia said today? (No really, did you? Jesus Christo.)
Also, (taking context into account) this woman gave one of the better speeches I’ve heard tonight, Obama included. It’s not just the name. Matalin and Carville had their moments, and not always when expected, but they were upstaged nonetheless.
